If you're using http and https and you have mapped your ports from container to host properly then you should get something other than connection refused. Docker will start your container the same as before but this time will detach from the container and return you to the terminal prompt. To do this, we can use the -detach or -d for short. Tcp 0 0 :::443 :::* LISTEN 383/nfĪs you can see Niginx is process id 383 and its listening on port 443 and port 80 for ipv4 and ipv6. Docker can run your container in detached mode, that is in the background. Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name Also you can use ps aux & netstat -lnp to see which ports are opening and which services are listening on those ports. nginx/site-confs/default nginx conf file and pay attention to the ports specified in that conf file. I don't have a solution for you but I know that connection refused means there is no service or application listening on the port you're trying to acccess. I was getting Bad Request (400) navigating HTTP and Bad Gateway (502) when using HTTPS errors because http was being transferred to https or something. I couldn't get it to work either but I didn't get the message you got. I was just messing around with nextcloud just to see what it does and how it could help me on my home LAN.
#Nextcloud refused to connect collabora code docker zip file
If anyone is interested, i made a zip file of some logs that could be usefull. Or does anyone have an idea what the problem could be ? I'm still having difficulties in understanding the networking behind virtualization :( p 8080:80would redirect traffic from port 8080 on all interfaces in the main network namespace to port 80 on the container’s external interface. To break it down explicitly: -p 5000:5000 means redirecting traffic from port 5000 on all interfaces in the main network namespace to the container’s port 5000 on its external interface. If we run docker run with -p 5000:5000*, it will forward from all interfaces where the Docker daemon is running (for our purposes, the main network namespace) to the external IP address of the containter.* It states: Docker run port-forwarding (is not enough) Then i found this article, which might be a stap in the direction of my problem: 127.0.0.1:9700, 0.0.0.0:9700 none works.įirst i thought ufw was the problem but after disableing it nothing changed.

however cant access the nextcloud interface in any way: 192.168.2.250:9700. In rancher it seems that i have no errors. I've been trying to set up nextcloud using rancher on ubuntu20.04 using these videos from technotim: Set up Rancher
